Rental Demand
The University of Toronto Scarborough is in the middle of a student accommodation shortage. Currently there are nearly 12,000 students at the University of Toronto and 3,600 students at Centennial College. Off campus housing is going to be crucial as the university only has 765 beds (which are solely available for first year students). As of now students are going as far as Scarborough Town Centre in order to find acceptable accommodation and then taking public transit to school.
